Group Home to Open on Sunset Drive in ROLO

One-of-a-kind home to open in Lake Worth Beach for female veterans

Non-profit group called Operation 120 will soon open their doors to provide a home for homeless female veterans who are now living on the streets, sleeping in the woods and have no place to go.

The ROLO neighborhood can expect the first few residents to arrive before Christmas.

Same greedy owners that blighted the neighborhood for years with a drug house. Different name ,same game. Another scam foisted on a single family neighborhood that just wants to remain single family neighborhood. Let's hope that this sunshine feel good story stays good. Can't help but wonder how soon the first fight/drug overdose will happen.

"Hope for the best, and prepare for the worst."

The people who are running this seem well-meaning, but I have very little confidence in addicts of any kind. How does a young healthy person wind up sleeping on the streets? Where did they come from? Have they no families at all?

I wish them well.
