PBSO gift wrapping for area children

Good Afternoon,

In preparation for our annual Holiday Gift Giveaway, we will be wrapping approximately 400 toys for local Lake Worth children on December 8th,9th, and 10th from 9 am to 5 pm each day at PBSO - District 14. If you are interested in participating on any of the days, we could use the help. Please e-mail our Crime Prevention Specialist Benito Gaspar at gasparb@pbso.org with the date and hours you are coming. Also, you are welcome to attend the giveaway on 12/17 from 9 am to 3 pm. Sadly, many of these children would not receive anything for the holidays without this event.

Thank you,

Captain Todd Baer

What a nice thing to do. I'm going to volunteer and bring some new toys with me so I can help make a child's Christmas more special.

Thank you Captain Baer for organizing this event. Now this is my kind of neighborhood policing.

Usually they ask for unwrapped toys but in this announcement it sounds like they already have the toys?
With all the crime we have in our city, policing is more necessary than ever but it is wonderful that PBSO is a part of our community and gives back in so many ways other than just policing.
