Election results are meaningless these days. Politicians and lobbyists scheme to bring defeated referendums or bills back for another vote until the voters "get it right" or they just plain don't want to accept the will of the people. Those who wanted medical marijuana to pass needed a super-majority. They didn't get that. There is always some excuse. Jeff Clemens now wants to make medical marijuana profitable for cannabis growers. He says that the market isn't big enough to justify the investment to cultivate, process and distribute medicinal marijuana known as Charlotte's Web that was passed into law by Rick Scott last year. This guy just won't give up.
Read about Clemens' latest bill that he plans on introducing within the next few weeks. That marijuana lobby must be working overtime in Tallahassee in order to get this bill re-introduced by their friend, Rep. Jeff Clemens. Now if Clemens has aspirations of running for higher office, he wouldn't want his plans going up in smoke. He will need a lot of money to do that and who better to fund a campaign than marijuana enterprises?

clemens is no different from any other politician, or most, taking money from big pharma and big business is how politicians stay in office. Then they do what the big pharma want, he is doing this for them, it is so obvious. The majority of politicians are bad, read the book The Truth About the Drug Companies by Macia Angell, MD. It will open your world to the truth about politicians and laws in their favor of the campaign givers like big pharma and big business. clemens is a rat politicians he always was and always will be, but you already know that and know we have mostly rats running the congress and senate in this state and country. It is the truth and and all very sad. They need our prayers.

Big Pharma doesn't want a natural plant legalized. How would they sell their chemicals? The Police loose money for the war on drugs too.
Who IS going to make money is like 5 businesses in Florida PERIOD! The bill is filled with twisted hoops requiring crazy stuff that a very small % fall into & qualify to grow pot.
Been hearing about those blind trusts our elected have? They (both R&D) are joining in this new revenue generator tailored for a select few....sick stuff!
The conversation needs to be about why Industrial Hemp (NO THC - NO HIGH) is a scheduled drug when it has NO Drug effect at all!
It's the greenest material on earth and meets economic and environmental needs for all!
I might be more inclined to vote for this if the fix was not already in . The politico fat cat friends are the only ones who are allowed to make a penny off of this. Corrupt before it even begins ,no thanks. Clemens needs to back Joey's Law that would save infant lives. Oh, but wait, there's no money in it for Jeffey or his contributor sugar daddies!
Weetha, we do not need more stoners going around in this city or state, we have enough idiots who are in their own little worlds here who could care less about the people around them. Why do so many want to use drugs and escape into their own little world? Is access to all these drugs and all of us on drugs the solution to the problem here? Greener, really. Give me a break and ye it will help you to then talk to the Spirits too. This is the sad mentality these days like in some states, to just be high all the time, is life really all that bad?

There are a lot of weeds that are good for us and have medicinal purposes, Coca from the Andes also has many medicinal purposes, we need to use these things for cures to illnesses instead of all these chemicals from big Pharma. The native Americans used all these weeds grown int he wild and knew they have many wonderful properties. This is what we all need to be doing more of. jeff just wants money from the groups pushing him to do this law.
Is that why they lived until age 25?
