Subject: new Political Committee

Please be advised that on June 22, 2012, I have registered the Respectful Planning Lake Worth Political Committee for the purpose of supporting a City Charter Amendment regarding heights of buildings in Lake Worth not to exceed 45 ft. downtown between Golfview and Dixie and not to exceed 35 ft. along Lake and Lucerne A Street and F Street’s.

The Shuffle Board Court is a public Citizen owned building. The movement Commissioner Mulvehill has created is in the financial interest for the benefit of our ENTIRE City which architectural and beacutiful old Florida, character is part of the multi billion dollar Florida tourism industry and she is helping Citizens, who paid $1,000,000,- to determine the charcater, ambiance, and architactural body, determined by the size, height, density and location of such elements,as they wish.
Maxwell used the Gym in Retha Lowe's distrcit to promote a phony plan, concerning our 60 acre mselly landfill,he neve did anything about.
So .get the facts straight, please, then be polite and thank Commissioner Mulvehill for her sense of Community and respect for the wish of ALL Lake Worth Citizens!Lantana wants you! Go!

It seems to me that this is geared to stop any chance of the Gulf Stream Hotel being expanded and opened as well as preventing any development of the 2 bank sites on the east side of Dixie at Lake & Lucerne. Both bank sites are 100% surrounded by non residential structures.
That doesn't seem to be in the best interests of majority of the citizens.

Could Mulvehil not come up with a name for this committee that was not such a mouthful????

I queried Commissioner Mulvehill on the very same thing. As it turns out, she had nothing to do with the name nor was she asked to give an opinion. My best guess is the PAC members came up with the name.

Personally, I would have been much more "in your face" with a name that would be eye catching and memorable. It is what it is. And, what's in a name anyway? Ask Maxwell, Triolo and Amoroso that one.

Great another PAC committee that should just about ruin Mulvehil's chance for reelection, does not anyone get it, the people of Lake Worth are sick and tired of PAC'S

This is a PAC that will do just the opposite for Suzanne.

What I am really sick of is BAD GOVERNMENT that forces us from time to time to devote our time and energy and resources to fight it.

Just stop bullies on the pulpit. Stop bullies from disallowing our right to vote. It IS our city the last time I checked, not three people in bed with all some of the wrong people and people who have the nerve to want to change the name of our city just because of some figment of their imagination that tells them our name is no longer important.
