Psaki claimed Afghans brought to U.S. by Biden subjected to 'thorough screening and background check'
The suspect in the shooting of two West Virginia National Guardsmen in Washington on Wednesday, the latest unprovoked terror attack on the U.S., allegedly had gone through a "thorough screening and background check" process. That's according to a statement of Joe Biden's press secretary, Jen Psaki, at the time thousands of Afghans were being brought into the United States by the Democrat administration then.
At the time, Psaki was questioned about the possibility of terrorists being delivered to U.S. shores by Biden's Operation Allies, which was supposed to have been evacuating and resettling U.S. "allies" from Afghanistan, after the U.S. abruptly withdrew its troops of that location.
Psaki said: "I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who has not been through a thorough screening and background check process."
She continued, "There are many individuals as you noted who have not been through that process. And they have gone to lilypad countries, as that process has been completed. It doesn't mean that there's a flag, it means they have not completed their paperwork."

WHAT?
There is no way on God's green Earth that all these Afghans were vetted. Not that day; not any day. Why do Democrats continue to lie? As this one Muslim worked for the CIA in Afghanistan, he was ushered in as one of the "good guys." Now he shouts, Allah Akbar as he shoots two citizens, murdering one and the other is still in critical condition.

Stephen Miller says Afghan immigrant Rahmanullah Lakanwal was incapable of assimilating to American culture. But a factcheck shows that Lakanwal used a gun to assault and kill multiple innocent people. Four Pinocchios.
When are you going to mention that he was granted asylum by the Trump administration this past April?
I mentioned that three hours ago on my Facebook page under a post by Jennifer Griffin. Thanks for being so astute @2:40.
Guess they didn't do a good enough job!
You are right--Biden and his entire administration did not do the job regarding anything, actually--
Here is Jennifer Griffin's statement:

Alleged shooter Rahmanullah Lakanwal worked for the CIA in Afghanistan out of Kandahar base, according to CIA director John Ratcliffe. Multiple sources tell me he was vetted before working with the CIA by the NCTC (National Counterterrorism Center) and the CIA. I am told that
Jennifer Griffin's post details how alleged shooter Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan who collaborated with the CIA's Kandahar Task Force, underwent multi-agency vetting—including by the NCTC and CIA—before U.S. arrival in September 2021, with no initial terrorism indicators flagged.
Lakanwal's asylum approval in April 2025 occurred under the Trump administration, highlighting systemic vetting processes spanning the Afghan withdrawal and post-arrival reviews, as one National Guard victim died and another remains critical from the November 26 DC ambush.
Replies reveal polarized discourse, with some attributing the incident to border policies and others emphasizing the suspect's documented CIA ties and repeated screenings, underscoring challenges in predicting post-resettlement violence despite extensive background checks.
