Are they really homeless or are they just driving in for a free breakfast
and hanging around drinking beer? Either way it is not a good perception for our public spaces. City officials don't seem to be able to stop it.

Yes this is a problem, as are the feedings at the churches in parrot cove. We have had several problems with the homeless hassling people in our neighborhood.

I don't know what the solution is, although I do prefer the hand outs at the park vs. in front of the library where they used to be.

Church groups are behind this and if they want to feed the homeless they should do it on church property.

How will churches feeding the homeless on their own property alleviate the homeless problem in Lake Worth? There has to be some kind of law prohibiting loitering around the city. Enforce the law. If other cities in Palm Beach County aren't overrun with homeless then Lake Worth shouldn't be either.

Many of the churches do feed on their own property, but frankly that just makes it worse as it draws the homeless into a residential neighborhood and sadly many of these folks cause problems where ever they go.
