Ramiccio beats up on Waterman - Again

Comment Up

The buck stops with Mr. Ramiccio

We all have difficulty with the spelling of some words from time to time. But there is no excuse because we live in the spell-check era-- On-line dictionaries and resources at our finger tips there to assist the most ignorant of us with our mental spelling lapses. When sending out a campaign mailer, it is most important not to appear stupid, not to appear careless, and to make your message appear worthy and plausible. We got the drift of Mr. Ramiccio's message and being a bully is his style.

I was hoping that Tom Ramiccio was going to take the higher road in this run-off campaign. That was not to be. Today there were two attack mailers--one misspelled the word lien three times on the front, words boxed in red, and the other misspelled the word violation.

As it costs 23 cents a card plus the printing to produce the mailer, Tom Ramiccio's mailer cost at least $2,000 not to mention the labor involved in its design, to send to 5,000 super-voters to harp on Ms. Waterman's unfortunate situation when she lost her job thus losing her properties and was wondering how she was going to feed her family. Ramiccio wants to make sure that everyone knows she had a tough situation and to beat up on her just one more time.

Ms. Waterman:

"The company I worked for was affected by the recession and closed its doors. I was the primary income earner for my family and was suddenly unemployed with a 10 week old and a 13 month old at home. I eventually lost my home and rental property. Wasn't much I could do - despite 15 years of perfect credit, without an income the banks refused to modify my loans. But, I kept my family together. We have rallied, know how to accomplish more with less and understand the challenges and emotions shared by the 250,000 Floridian families who have faced a foreclosure in the past 4 years.

My understanding is the liens have been released and I have struggled with WPB utilities for over a year to get the public record corrected.

The code violation was taken care before I even got the letter from the city (our grass got long during a rainy season when Yure was on deadline for a sculpture - but it was mowed before we even got the letter from the city). I called them and they told me just to disregard it."

I trust that there might be a measure of understanding here with Ms. Waterman's explanation. It's okay for Mr. Ramiccio to dish it out but he sure gets up in arms when someone says something he does not like.

Do we need a mayor who can't even SPELL?

One would think a fellow who manages a printing company would do a better job proof reading!

She is not being honest. She is inventing a pitiful sob story. I'm not buying it. What company closed? Where was she employed in Brevard. There is way more to the story.

We need a mayor who has some empathy.

What about a mayor who is not corrupt?

corrupt Being dishonest, Like taking contributions from underage children, check reports, Ms. Watermans children both gave money to her

Almost 3 million U.S. properties went into foreclosure in 2010 alone—a record high. So, consider yourself lucky your company did not close; you did not lose your job. Also, I am equally positive that if there was some smoking gun there, you would have found it.

Right now Obama is taking a lot of heat because of the unemployment situation.

Ramiccio likes to beat people up. And I guess you do too.

It is a sad story and it is too bad that you find fault even in the truth and someone's misery. You must be a real $%^& to be around.

Tough group. Tom take down your illegal signs.

Is taking $20 from your kid in the same category as taking $2,500 from Sun Recycling?

Anonymous said...

what is the matter with Sun Recycling they have had five health inspection's, and they have found nothing wrong?
You always assume that people that take money from the Republican's, Big Business, or Sun Recycling are corrupt

He can spell the words, "sue," and he can carry on when someone does it to him: "It's sad," he said. "It was Romano that taught us that nobody benefits in negative politics."

When is Ms. Waterman going to be honest about her relationship with Cara Jennings? There are pictures of the party at the Pegasus Restaurant going around that show Cara Jennings holding Ms. Waterman's son as Suzanne Mulvehill expounds on some point. Clearly the situation is more than "we have some mutual friends, but.."

Lynn Anderson said...

Waterman has already said that she knows Cara Jennings just like 15,000 other people know Cara Jennings in this city but she is not a "friend" of hers--they don't hang out together, etc. Everyone who was at Pegasus knows who Rachel Waterman is but don't hang out with her either. So, your point? What more do you want her to say about this? I don't know Allen West intimately either but voted for him and sent him a contributuion. So? Clearly the situation that you are inventing (whatever that is) is only in your mind so that you can continue to make an issue of it.

Touchy touchy. Seems like whoever questions Ms. Waterman fo rlying baout her friendship with Cara touched Lynn's nerve. And who said you're not bending over backwards for Waterman?

Lynn Anderson said...

Well, you just don't accept the truth. I just am bending over backwards to bring to the attention of the voters here on Mr. Ramicico's record. Pretty dismal.
