Trump ally wins in special congressional election
Former President Donald Trump received some good news this week when one of this allies won a special election.According to The Hill, Republican candidate Celeste Maloy defeated Democratic state Sen. Kathleen Riebe in Utah's 2nd Congressional District on Tuesday.
Maloy says she "ready to get to work on 'The People's' business."
The race was called after Republican Rep. Chris Stewart chose to step down from his seat due to concerns over his wife's health. The Hill noted that Maloy previously served as chief legal counsel in Stewart’s congressional office.
