The Gulfstream Hotel and the pool are a distraction. Shiny objects to dangle in front of a population that is too addle brained to notice that the town is being taken over by drug addicts and homeless people.
Sunday, I saw private citizens picking up trash in front of CVS and Starbucks, multi-billion dollar corporations that can't even clean up the perimeters of the properties they are making billions from.
And you fools are worried about an old fire trap hotel; what so the homeless can sit on the veranda, and use the bushes for a toilet.
A population who can't understand that the homeless are mostly mentally ill or substance abusers, or both, and need to be housed in an institution where they can be cared for, is a population that isn't going to around for much longer.

I hope you are directing your comment to the City Commission when you use the word "fools."
