The Left wants to ban "assault" weapons in Florida

They are trying to get it on the ballot for 2020.

But the Attorney General says, "Hey, wait a minute," arguing the proposed ballot language is “clearly and conclusively defective,” she wants the Florida Supreme Court to block a proposed constitutional amendment that seeks to prevent possession of assault weapons. But it doesn't matter her party registration...Democrats are calling this some political move by the Attorney General. No surprise. They would rather throw stones than solve the problem. Just change the ballot language.

The amendment would bar possession of assault weapons, though it includes exceptions such as for military or law-enforcement use. Commissioner Herman Robinson will love this one if it gets on the ballot as will all Democrats. Robinson was the catalyst behind the Gun Show ending in Lake Worth.

And I honestly believe this one could pass in Florida as Democrats don't like the 2nd Amendment and they still believe that the AR-15-style rifles are “assault weapons”--they are not and would not qualify for this anti-assault weapon ballot. Source:  Sunshine State News
