Climate Change will no longer be a national security threat

The Trump administration will reverse course from previous Obama administration policy, eliminating climate change from a list of national security threats. The National Security Strategy to be released today will emphasize the importance of balancing energy security with economic development and environmental protection, according to a source who has seen the document and shared excerpts of a late draft.

“Climate policies will continue to shape the global energy system,” a draft of the National Security Strategy slated to be released on Monday said. “U.S. leadership is indispensable to countering an anti-growth, energy agenda that is detrimental to U.S. economic and energy security interests. Given future global energy demand, much of the developing world will require fossil fuels, as well as other forms of energy, to power their economies and lift their people out of poverty.” [Blabber-Buzz]

  1. Climate change is real-for millions of years our earth has gone thru periods of warming and cooling. It will continue to do so. In spite of how much money the United States and other countries pour into the ponzi scheme of "global warming". It's all about a cash exchange from wealthy countries to 3rd world countries that do most of the worlds polluting and have NO PLANS to stop. False science promoted by the false media. Good for Trump for stopping the United States taxpayers from being held hostage by greedy globalists.

  2. I'm sure there's a kernel of truth in your comment, and I don't know how old you are, although I guess you are pretty old, but if what you say is 100% accurate, then why is the climate changing. You don't have to be a scientist, or even a wizard, to acknowledge that there is a difference in just a few short years, in the weather we are experiencing in Florida for example. We all know that the weather is different than it was a million years ago, but how do you explain that it is different than it was 10 years ago.

I'll be waiting for your explanation!

  3. I noticed you had to throw in "age" again. Anyone with a different view than yours is either stupid, senile or evil.
1970 – Kenneth Field “The world is cooling and global temperatures could drop by up to 11ÂșC that would freeze the North Atlantic for 4- months of the year within 20-years …”
    Yeah, I remember those days.

  4. It stands to reason that the older you get, the less you will be impacted by changes in the environment, for the simple reason that you won't be here to experience them. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings.

  6. Perhaps the 'freaky' weather warfare is
is exactly that - freaky and warfare!
When did anyone ever see a forest fire
burn inside if a tree and things a few
feet away remain alive and untouched?
How did Harvey go back out to sea (?X)
and regain strength only to return and
devastate the region so it's uninhabitable?

Now look at the "Wildlands" Map and anything
Ag 21ish and miraculously the path (literally)
    is cleared...
...remember that dern evil code of ethics thing
where they have to tell the truth (often in plain
site) before the event takes place.

It's no more than a green greedy grab for
cash in 'wolves' clothing called global warming...
    now climate change...

This is age old divide and conquer and there's
    nothing new under the sun!

  7. Sea rise? What sea rise?I'm 58 years old. For 58 years I have been going to the Boynton inlet. For 58 years the tide has been coming in and going out.Still looks the same. Weren't we all supposed to be under water every place east of Dixie Hwy by now? Global warming-Spiritualism for the 21st century. P. T.Barnum would have been impressed. And sorry he didn't think up this scam himself.
