Basically, that's what ambassadorships are...loyalty to the president who appoints them. This must be the resident "liberal" who loves to give smack-downs on just about anything Trump. Now you're an expert on Bernie Madoff and attempting to denigrate Robin Bernstein for her philanthropy no less. Lovely.
Sorry. When Trump said "Drain the swamp" I thought he meant he was going to drain the swamp and do things differently than previous presidents. As far as these positions go, it's the same old same old.
Sorry I'm not politically correct and applaud every single thing that Trump is doing but it is what it is.
Draining the Swamp of Washington elitists and phony BS'ers. She is a resident of Palm Beach...not a politician, not a lobbyist and NOT in the swamp. Where are you coming from?
What is it about this appointment that you find so appealing? Surely there might be someone more appropriate for this job. How about someone who knows the country! You are allowed to think for yourself. You don't have to cheer every time The President does something. He can't always be right!
I am not a political pundit, but I am a keen observer of human behavior. Once you insult people, and call them disparaging names, (right or wrong) you have made an enemy, and those people will never forgive you. The President has insulted many many people. People who could have been his allies, are now his sworn enemies. He should have read The Prince, or at least taken a course at Dale Carnegie, before he ran for president. I'm sorry, but there is no walking back from this!
And the Democrats have insulted many people. You do to this day. There are NO Democrats that would have been "his allies." NONE, NADA. He took the courses he needs to be President of the U.S. Get over it. It's really old.
It doesn't matter to me; I'm just explaining an aspect of the nature of the human species. I'm not a democrat, and I don't need any allies; I'm not running for anything. I'm not talking about Trump. I'm talking about human beings.
Drain the swamp!
ReplyDeleteI think Bernie Madoff was also a big supporter of Florida charities.
ReplyDeleteTalk about influence peddling!

Oh. I thought the swamp boundaries extended outside of the DC Metro area.
ReplyDeleteSo rewarding people who have joined your private club with ambassadorships and cabinet positions doesn't count.
Got it. Thanks for the clarification. No idea what the rules were.
Look, Anonymous Lib, if Trump wants to reward people because they joined his club, that's up to him. Keep your nose out of it. Get over losing.
ReplyDeleteThe Clintons rewarded Harvey Weinstein for using Bill's playbook and his donations with enablement.
