Used lights dumped on John Prince Park

Comment Up

Every day I am at John Prince Park picking up some lazy bum's trash. People have zero respect for the property of others but this one takes the cake! Let's hope that the LED sub-contractor working for Siemens and the city of Lake Worth had an arrangement to dump used lights on county property and they will be back later to remove.

  1. Where's the PERMITTED DUMPSTER?
Hello LW Citizens - can you get away with this?
Not for more than a day with out FEAR of $250
to $500 a day fines??? Is it some how OK because
it's county property? Broken Glass in the park
can be as bad as used needles!

  4. I heard back from the Utility Director who sent out a manager to investigate. It was as we imagined. The City is taking stern steps to address this so it will never happen again. All the garbage was removed yesterday.

  5. Unbelievable!!! Thanks Lynn. Apparently you shamed them into cleaning up. I still think they should be fined the same as any of us would be for this behavior. They are showing they are just about as professional as any bum making our park their personal trash can. Can we write a complaint to Seimans? They should be accountable, they're taking our money.
