On Sanctuary Cities

Comment Up

“Sanctuary policies undermine justice and the rule of law. They jeopardize public safety and have a burdensome financial toll on government. Sanctuary policies encourage further illegal immigration, undermine anti-terrorism efforts, and promote an underground economy that sabotages the tax base. They also waste much-needed public resources as they force the federal government to find and arrest deportable criminals already taken into custody by local law enforcement.”

~ Jeff Landry, Louisiana's Attorney General

Thanks to Ric Bradshaw, not only is Lake Worth a Sanctuary City but the entire county of Palm Beach was named one and officially added to the list on October 15, 2015. Source: 10-8-14 DHS DDO Report. Sanctuary Cities.

Bradshaw has said that PBSO has limited its cooperation with the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) when it demands they detain an immigrant. Taking over 60% of the county's budget, Ric Bradshaw is up for re-election on November 8.

  1. Half the time, I can't find anyone who speaks English. They are here, taking our jobs, and are criminals just for being here not to mention the rise in crime across the country. Look what's going on in San Francisco? Why we need trump.

  2. Not to mention the fact that because of all this illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities, good citizens completely lose respect for their government and law enforcement because they do not enforce the laws, many, but immigration within a community. HOW CAN WE RESPECT OUR GOVERNMENT AND LAW ENFORCEMENT WHEN THEY OVERLOOK AND ALLOW ALL OF THIS?

It is sad, the bigger issue too is human trafficking that our government also overlooks all in the name of modern day slavery.

  3. There are a lot of legal immigrants here too, permanent residents, they may not be able to speak English well, but they do have the right to work and live here. Not all are illegals, so don't generalize please. My spouse is one of them.

  4. No one is talking about LEGAL immigrants. having said that, LEGAL immigrants must have a basic understanding of the English language, including the ability to speak, read, and write simple common words and phrases,

  6. The only one generalizing here is anon at 8:55. We are talking ILLEGALS, and they are spitting on America by even being here. They are sucking up time ,money and resources that should be going to American citizens. And by the way -LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH like generations of LEGAL immigrants before you.

  7. Cut funding to these cities and watch them change the funding is proof positive that our Federal Government wants illegals here, of all kinds.
