Halloween Day Lake Worth Beach
Only spotted one person in costume at Benny's on the Beach. Only two stores had decorations: Mulligans and Kilwins. It was a bah humbug Halloween at the beach.

Union speaker at Democratic Club Lake Worth

No matter your Party affiliation, this is a topic that should interest everyone. The Democratic Club will have a speaker representing the unions. Unions are always backed by the Democrats. Dems would never bite the hand that feeds them. It would be really interesting to hear a rebuttal and how union contracts are bankrupting municipalities across the country.
"The Lake Worth Democratic Club is meeting this Saturday October 31st at Noon.
Common Grounds Coffee Bar, 12 S. J Street.
Our speaker will be Sam Neimeiser, a union representative, to explain to us the ins and outs of pensions and union negotiations. We hear a lot about it and if you are like me, you grasp a bit here and there. After this meeting I hope we can advance to getting a general grasp on the complexities of what takes place between our city and its unions.

I got interested when looking at the lineup and Marco Rubio standing between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump. Senator Rubio is 5'10" which is considered average for an American male. The only thing he is not average in is intelligence.

Chris Christie on fantasy sports
The CNBC debate moderators were disgusting to watch, at least during the beginning before their first break. But it continued on throughout the night with insipid questions--
such as--asking Jeb Bush if daily fantasy sports needs government regulation.
Bush took it as an excuse to brag about his 7-0 fantasy team (quarterbacked by Ryan Tannehill), and then New Jersey governor Chris Christie jumped in to blast the question.

What a joke! Last week, Chaz Stevens asked to give a satanic prayer before the Lake County, Florida commission meeting. This blog has reported on Mr. Stevens. Lake County officially denied his request and now he says that he is going to file a lawsuit.
As we all know, he has threatened suit against Lake Worth. This is what he says from his own web site:
He has really gone too far now. Civil rights or not, he is not the sort of person that the city would want to invite to a funeral in hell. But, I can't stand the fact that we would consider rolling over to Mr. Stevens. We'll see what the city does on November 10.

City Manager Michael Bornstein, a fellow who imbues the “quintessential essence of a lying, governmental hack” and his boss, Mayor McShe’sACunt, were temporarily successful (emphasis temporarily) with this duplicity — their lies, ones I’ve caught ’em dead to right, are of a chilling, discriminatory nature clearly designed to silence my Satanic invocation. To tell you the truth, I think everyone should be allowed to have their 2 minutes whether it is on an agenda item or in an invocation. However, where I would draw this line would be granting an invitation to someone to speak who has cursed at me, threatened me and has told the world that he plans on "bitch slapping" me [The City of Lake Worth].

Quote of the Day - Marco Rubio
After last night's debate, there are so many great quotes of the day.
The Democrats have been digging up any dirt that might stick in order to tarnish a Republican's character and have been coming after Marco Rubio and attacking his attendance record in the Senate. The Democrats forget about Hillary Clinton missing 83.5 per cent in the last quarter in 2007 when she was running against Obama. Donald Trump and Jeb Bush, the wimp, has attacked Rubio as well.
Last night, the liberal CNBC moderator and total jerk, Carl Quintanilla, came after Rubio and asked him--"Do you hate your job?"
Rubio knocked it out of the park with this response.
“Let me answer your question on the Sun-Sentinel editorial today. Back in 2004, one of my predecessors to the senate by the name of Bob Graham, a Democrat, ran for President, missing over 30 percent of his votes. I don’t recall them calling for his resignation. Later that year, in 2004, John Kerry ran for President, missing close to 60 to 70 percent of his votes. I don’t recall the Sun — in fact, the Sun-Sentinel endorsed him. In 2008, Barack Obama missed 60 or 70 percent of his votes, and the same newspaper endorsed him again.
So this is another example of the double standard that exists in this country between the mainstream media and the conservative.”

Halloween is looking especially scary this year.
On Monday, Republican leaders in Congress declared an unconditional fiscal surrender to President Barack Obama and the left, negotiating a dangerous budget deal that eliminates all of the checks on Washington’s spend-and-borrow binge by breaking the budget caps, ending the sequester and raising the debt ceiling by over $1 trillion.

Quote of the Day - Hillary Clinton
"If you're president and the banks are failing, do we let them fail?" asked Colbert.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. First of all, under Dodd-Frank, that is what will happen because we now have stress tests and I'm going to impose a risk fee on the big bank if they engage in risky behavior but they have to know, their shareholders have to know, that yes, they will fail and if they're too big to fail. Then under my plan and others that have been proposed, they may have to be broken up."

Republican candidates win - CNBC moderators lose

I for one, could not stand the CNBC moderators last night. They were stupid, sarcastic, wise azzes and downright rude...just plain unlikable and that was their objective. Every candidate did a great job answering their often times demeaning questions.
I had a few favorites for the night--Marco Rubio, Chris Christie and Ted Cruz.
Then came a question asked of Cruz by Quintanilla--
"Senator Cruz, congressional Republicans, Democrats and the White House are about to strike a compromise that would raise the debt limit, prevent a government shutdown and calm financial markets that fear of another Washington-created crisis is on the way. Does your opposition to it show that you're not the kind of problem solver American voters want?"
Cruz's answer:"You know, let me say something at the outset. The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media. This is not a cage match. And, you look at the questions: 'Donald Trump, are you a comic-book villain?' 'Ben Carson, can you do math?' 'John Kasich, will you insult two people over here?' 'Marco Rubio, why don't you resign?' 'Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?'
How about talking about the substantive issues the people care about? Contrast with the Democratic debate, where every fawning question from the media was, 'Which of you is more handsome and why'?
Let me be clear. The men and women on this stage have more ideas, more experience, more common sense than every participant in the Democratic debate. That debate reflected a debate between the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks. And nobody watching at home believed that any of the moderators had any intention of voting in a Republican primary. The questions that are being asked shouldn't be trying to get people to tear into each other. It should be what are your substantive positions."
The debate was won by Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Chris Christie, in that order. The CNBC moderators did not concentrate on Trump and consequently his numbers might fall today. Also, today Rand Paul will be filibustering the new debt ceiling bill on the Senate floor--another stand-up guy even if he does like marijuana...can't wait.

Don't forget tonight's GOP debate

Your Money; Your vote!--the theme of tonight's debate.
The CNBC Republican debate featuring ten candidates--Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, John Kasich and Rand Paul-- starts at 8 p.m. EDT. The debate is being held at the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder and will last two hours.
We have heard that CNBC will focus its attention on the economy. Taxes will be debated along with retirement spending and job growth. I hope they touch on the new budget.
Moderating the debate are CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla, co-anchor of “Squawk on the Street” and “Squawk Alley,” Becky Quick, co-anchor of “Squawk Box” and Chief Washington Correspondent John Harwood.

Budget Act of 2015
It's no wonder Republicans wanted John Boehner out. And who can say what will happen year after year where we could even have the ability to make any significant cuts?
"Rather than taking meaningful steps to address the growing debt, the Boehner-Obama deal is a colossal step in the opposite direction. This deal does nothing to reduce the size or scope of government over any period of time."

I-95 Interchange Improvements at 10th Avenue North
Construction on this 0.579-mile project will begin Monday, November 2, 2015, in the City of Lake Worth. Work consists of widening 10th Avenue North, from Barnett Drive to “A” Street, including roadway approaches and bridges over I-95 and the railroad tracks to provide dual eastbound turn lanes onto I-95, widening the I-95 northbound entrance ramp to receive the newly constructed dual eastbound left turn lanes, and widening the existing three-lane I-95 southbound exit ramp to four lanes to provide dual left and dual right turns.
Other improvements include utility relocation, bridge construction, installation of barrier walls, curbs, sidewalks, guardrail, drainage, overhead signs, signing and pavement markings, signals, lighting, and retaining walls. This is the third of five interchange improvement projects throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The combined project cost for all five projects is an estimated $32.5 million.
Work is being performed by Community Asphalt Corp. and is expected to be completed summer 2017. For more information, please contact Andrea Pacini, 561-214-3358.

What is Obama's Priority?
(Conservative
Tribune) – It has been said by some that President Barack Obama’s
administration cares more for illegal immigrants and Muslim
refugees than the veterans who fought and sacrificed for our country. It
now appears that there is some evidence to support such a notion,
unthinkable as it may be..
According to the Military Times, the Department of Veterans Affairs informed Congress this summer that it would be facing a $2.6 billion shortfall in its budget for the year.
Meanwhile, according to Breitbart, the Obama administration has agreed to spend roughly $419 million more on humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest, meanwhile, stated that hundreds of millions of dollars were needed to provide refugees with health care, drinking water, food and shelter. Earnest also said that the United States has now committed to spending more than $4.5 billion to provide aid and comfort to refugee camps around Syria and the broader region.

Ben Carson and Bernie Sanders on Pot

Our public policy on marijuana has been a failure. Poll after poll shows that a growing number of Americans want the drug war to be replaced with a public policy that makes sense. What makes sense to me is ending illegal drug use.
There is a growing group that is pushing for legalizing marijuana. The States of Washington and Colorado have already legalized it and there are seven states on the verge of legalizing it: California (no surprise here), Massachusetts, Missouri, Hawaii, Maine, Nevada and Ohio.
Bernie Sanders, a self-described Socialist who is running for the Democratic nomination, said in May that he supports decriminalizing recreational marijuana in Vermont, and was watching the situation in Colorado “very closely.” If elected, some believe that he will legalize marijuana and then all of us can walk around stoned out of our minds.

Quote of the Day - Allen West
Obama vetoed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) so we have a military unauthorized to exist or conduct any missions.
~ Allen West
I say as he is Commander and Chief, he, and he alone, is responsible for our declining power throughout the world. America has become the Paper Tiger. It was he who only four years ago signed the Budget Control Act, which cut a trillion dollars over ten years from the defense budgets.

Florida Black Bear Hunt ends
Comment Up
Thank God--it's over after two days!
The
Florida black bear hunt has been called off after two days.Ralf Brookes
Attorney said "with only 3200 Fla Black Bear unique to the world the
numbers taken this year cannot be repeated next year and are not
sustainable. This hunt must not happen again next year and the year
thereafter or we will have few or no Florida Black Bears. This spepies
was listed as threatened only 3 years ago. Science not politics, and
precaution not annihilation, will save the Florida Black Bear.
Science has shown hunts are ineffective in controlling bear conflicts
and that managing garbage cans is the best most effective way to control
human bear conflicts. Indigenous peoples have lived with bears and we
must also learn to give the same respect to the species. A wholesale
slaughter cannot be condoned. Florida black bear habitat must be
connected through statewide wildlife Corridors to ensure genetic
diversity and a healthy population of bears and other wildlife for
future generations. we cannot continue to cause fragmentation of
wildlife habitat and expect our species to survive."

All this Black Lives Matter stuff is getting out of hand. It's all an excuse to go after Whitey and has become a field day for trouble makers believing they can say and do anything they damn well please to soothe their hatred for White people.

Read about it... and the woman who was promoting killing white people just for the heck of it.

"I THINK EVERYONE -SHE PROVED TO BE A LEADER AND SHE WILL WIN IN A LANDSLIDE--SO ALL YOU HATERS OF HER----ITS TIME TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND JUST WATCH HER WIN --REPUBLICANS HAVE BEEN A DYING BREED AND THEY HAVE TAKEN THIER (sic) LAST BREATH"
According to Wikipedia, this is a little of the history of the Democratic and Republican Parties. I remember when I was young, if you wanted to vote here in Lake Worth you had to register as a Democrat as there were very few Republicans around here.
As of the U.S. gubernatorial elections of 2010, the Republican Party holds an outright majority of approximately 440 with 3,890 seats (53% of total) compared to the Democratic party's number of 3,450 (47% of total) seats elected on a partisan ballot.[1] Of the 7,382 seats in all of the state legislatures combined, independents and third parties account for only 15 members, not counting the 49 members of the Nebraska Legislature, which is the only legislature in the nation to hold non-partisan elections to determine its members. Source: Wikipedia
Due to the results of the 2010 elections, Republicans took control of an additional 19 state legislative chambers, giving them majority control of both chambers in 25 states versus the Democrats' majority control of both chambers in only 16 states, with 8 states having split or inconclusive control of both chambers (not including Nebraska); previous to the 2010 elections, it was Democrats who controlled both chambers in 27 states versus the Republican party having total control in only 14 states, with eight states divided and Nebraska being nonpartisan.
Now I realize that Obama has really screwed up the dynamic -- People believed in him and voted for him because he had great promises (remember all that hope and change?) and he was Black proving to themselves that they had zero innate prejudices. They were low information voters and now nearly seven years later we are with a disastrous economy, a crumbling foreign policy, an unmanageable nightmare called Obamacare, and nearly $7 trillion more in debt.Consequently socialism filtered our society like it never has before but Republicans still are in control of the House and of the Senate. We just need more of them to move this country in the right direction.
By the time Obama leaves office, the national debt will be $19.1 trillion dollars. The total national debt was $10.6 trillion when he took office in 2009 and now is $18.165 trillion, nearly twice what it was when he first took office. On top of everything else, we are losing prestige all over the world...even Putin and ISIS are soaring ahead.

Meet Hope

A Christian’s definition of hope is far superior to that of the world. Instead of wishing or hoping for something to happen, a believer knows that their hope is solid, concrete evidence because it is grounded in the Word of God and we know that God cannot lie (Heb 6:18; Num 23:19).

Quote of the Day - Leftest Radicals changed Marriage
Comment Up
“I think we’re already seeing what’s next from the ‘LGBT’ and same-sex-marriage movement – that is, an aggressive and uncompromising push for forced acceptance, forced compliance, and forced acquiescence. For these people, ‘tolerance’ doesn’t actually mean ‘tolerance,’ just as ‘diversity’ doesn’t actually mean ‘diversity.’ What they want is a very selective tolerance and very selective diversity, which, of course, isn’t actually real tolerance or real diversity.
Marriage is not ours to “redefine" just as a dog is a dog, a cat is a cat and marriage is marriage.
~ Paul Kengor
From his book “Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left has Sabotaged Family and Marriage.”
And this sabotage has been occurring for years by radical Jihadist progressives, Marxists and Communists USA who all have been working diligently with a few main objectives--to destroy the family and destroy religion and destroy marriage. Now they have liberals on the Supreme Court of the United States ruling on a 5/4 decision in their favor to do that very thing.
What comes next? The First Amendment?

It takes a Republican
Governor Rick Scott announced that Florida’s private-sector job growth rate of 3.4 percent in September was the highest among the ten most populous states, including Texas and California. This is all because of reducing taxes and reducing debt and his intensive policy of pursuing and competing for economic projects to locate to Florida.

Christian persecution in America
We have our own radical extremists right in this country and they're not ISIS. They are very dangerous and want to bring you and your Christian faith down. We have seen the trend for several years now--Christians are targeted and the mission of the anti-Christian group is just beginning with their goal to end our Judeo-Christian heritage. We have seen an escalation lately and they have even managed to have a liberal Supreme Court make a law.
"American Christians need to prepare for persecution," Carl Gallups told WND TV. The former law enforcement professional and pastor of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church argued Christians are increasing being "targeted" for both political harassment and outright violence.

Hillary -
Comment Up
- The first big lie was that Hillary Clinton was a victim of a political Benghazi committee dedicated to her destruction.
- Hillary, as always, is the poor, put-upon victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy.
- She set up a private email server and deleted relevant emails from it for purely political reasons;
- She pressed for a pointless invasion of Libya for political reasons, chortled at its conquest for political reasons, watched it descend into chaos while doing nothing for political reasons, and then allowed her ambassador to twist in the Libyan tornado without proper security for political reasons;
- She promoted the Muslim Brotherhood...never has known who the enemy is.
- She covered up the Libyan disaster by lying about its causes for political reasons.
- But those who ask questions about such matters are partisan politicians.

Eastern Metal Supply Lake Worth
Comment Up
A first class supplier of aluminum products, Eastern Metal Supply is headquartered at 3300 23rd Avenue South in Lake Worth and has just purchased Tigress Trading Company and Tigress Specialty metals Products Manufacturing near Fort Lauderdale.
Eastern Metal Supply (EMS) is a private company and says of itself that it provides just-in-time delivery of aluminum extrusions, hurricane shutters, sunshades, decking, fencing, sign extrusions, and marine extrusions and accessories. This allows customers to order materials as they need them — without having to pay storage fees and tie up their cash flow. With various warehouses throughout Florida and the capability to cut, drill, and polish various aluminum products, EMS saves customers time and money — thereby helping them to improve their bottom line. EMS has a 30-year reputation as a first class supplier of aluminum products.
Eastern Metal's Corporate Office and warehouse in Lake Worth, FL stands at 143,000 square feet. They also have a 112,000 square foot Hurricane Shutter Products Distribution and Manufacturing Center in West Palm Beach and a 160,000 square foot warehouse in Lakeland.
Perhaps Lake Worth's Vice Mayor, Scott Maxwell, can call Eastern's marketing manager, Rachel Kramer, 800-432-2204 Ext. 1115, and get them interested in our Park of Commerce for a future location. Who better to promote the POC other than the guy who wants to spend $8.7 million there on infrastructure but wants to keep our beach fund in the red.

Obama's Military
One sergeant walked off his post, hooked up with the Taliban for five years, caused two U.S. soldiers who were looking for him to be killed and only returned after being exchanged for five hardened jihadist commanders.
The second sergeant slugged an Afghan police chief who was repeatedly raping a young boy.
The first sergeant -- given the severity of his actions -- is being treated with kid gloves.
The second is being drummed out of the service.

Knockout Game takes a turn
Read about it...
The woman is a member of her neighborhood watch (uh oh, I can see an Al Sharpton moment coming on) and says that she always carries a gun now after being robbed once before. When seven punks approached her "playing" Knockout, she shot two and the rest took off like scared rabbits.

Sick, thirsty hunters waiting to kill
Comment Up
What Florida has done for revenue--Sickening. I think all hunters are sick.
Reports say that more than 3,200 people have purchased permits to KILL bears--numbers released by FWC. Less than 50 of those permits are from out-of-state hunters.
Since august and based on the cost of the permits, Florida Fish and Wildlife has brought in more than $320,000.
The FWC web site says: In June 2015, the FWC approved a limited bear hunt to take place beginning Oct. 24, 2015 in four of the seven BMUs. The purpose of reinstating a bear hunting season is to stabilize expanding bear populations in different parts of the state that are capable of supporting hunting.

She was on the hot seat but she was one cool woman.
When Democratic committee members asked questions, they rarely asked questions. They gave speeches...speeches intended to fill up as much as possible of their 10-minute allotments. Mini-filibusters.
They asked her such hard-hitting questions as, “What can we learn from this incident?” Mercifully, they stopped short of asking her favorite color.

Frankly, she just outsmarted that committee and seldom batted an eye.
