Don't forget tonight's GOP debate

Comment Up

Your Money; Your vote!--the theme of tonight's debate.

The CNBC Republican debate featuring  ten candidates--Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, John Kasich and Rand Paul-- starts at 8 p.m. EDT. The debate is being held at the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder and will last two hours.

We have heard that CNBC will focus its attention on the economy. Taxes will be debated along with  retirement spending and job growth. I hope they touch on the new budget.

Moderating the debate are CNBC’s Carl Quintanilla, co-anchor of “Squawk on the Street” and “Squawk Alley,” Becky Quick, co-anchor of “Squawk Box” and Chief Washington Correspondent John Harwood.

  1. The only candidate running for President who can afford to be independent of donor money, and make decisions based on his view of what is best for America, is Donald Trump.
This includes Democrats as well as Republicans and is even more applicable after the Citizens United decision to allow corporations to donate unlimited money to candidates.
I am a registered Democrat, but will switch to Republican in order to vote for Donald Trump in the primary
