More United States Enginuity--made in the USA with USA parts--the Ghost Gunner. At a cost of $1,000, you can mill your own AR-15 rifle and it is untraceable. Fed-Ex refuses to ship it. California tried to ban it but the governor refused to sign the bill. Where is all this heading? Will the bad guys rule? Do they already? Or will this help Joe Six Pack in defense of his life and property? Will a milling machine such as this force local governments to repeal its laws on guns rather than face a lawsuit? Where will all this end?
Much ado about nothing. This is simply another effort to make the Second Amendment null and void. CNC machines and 3D printing have made replicating a weapon simple and affordable for everyone.
ReplyDeleteBanning weapons will have little effect on the sale and ownership of guns, as there are simply a never-ending supply. Banning bullets, however, can make weapons as we currently know them obsolete. That is why rednecks, and anyone fearful of government, are storing ammo in unheard of quantities. One hundred thousand to five hundred thousand rounds in a single household is a common occurrence nowadays.
People such as myself smile at people who become apoplectic over the thought of a CNC milling machine making receivers, as we know that the real fight will eventually be over bullets. Limit the sale of brass to third world countries if you really want to do some good in this arena.
