Spring-training stadiums costly flings

Comment Up
"Sure, you side-step the crabby neighbor problem there. It is much easier to turn the natural beauty of a park into a future eyesore, which is what eventually happens to ballparks."

Read what Frank Cerabino has to say about Spring training stadiums.

  1. It's pretty sick that Lake Worth is behind this and that Shelley Vana added the park to the list of possibles. Sick, every single one of them. Even sicker, is the LW Herald and his slap down of some residents who spoke out against John Prince Park.

  3. What does Cerabino know or any reporter about economic development. The mayor is an expert on that.

  4. Thank you Frank. There's just something about the big green S that sparks the profiteering egos of local yokels of all kinds including politicians with a propensity for hot dogs and beer that override any of the real ongoing needs of the community at large. I love baseball. On TV. Just like all sports where you get to watch what happens over and over and over....
