Very sad about the poor person that got hurt at the beach, the city should never allowed Mulligan's to open fully or past dark without making sure all lighting issues were addressed first, it is the fault of the city and city leadership. They have a sidewalk which leads to a curb and you need to step over it to walk over to the casino area, it is a bad design, not a logical pedestrian flow or walk from the parking areas at all. Make Mulligan's close at dark then until all is fixed to prevent any other accidents. I know Bornstein and Parilla care, but man Mark has a huge EGO, he will do anything to be in the spot light. He loves to be the city hero and spokesman for Lake Worth.
WRONG. It was this commission, minus Szerdi, that had the chance to stop this mess. They did NOT. get your facts straight before you start slapping down.
C'mon, an 80 something year old lady feel and we are supposed to conclude the parking lot is dangerous? She was probably out past her curfew anyways. Is the hamburger that she couldn't eat dangerous too? That's like saying a pillow fight is dangerous because if you had a pillow fight with a bunch 80 year olds, they'd probably break a hip. I think it's time we outlaw (or at least regulate) pillow fights too. Our society has just become too dangerous for the oldest, weakest, and stupidest people, there just aren't enough protections and regulations in place, so the rest of us really should be forced to dumb down to the lowest possible levels of safety and intellect. Maybe Mulligans should be required to pre-screen each customer and determine if they will need to be carried to and from their homes to make sure nobody stubbs a toe on the way. Ahh America, once the greatest nation rewarding the strong, smart, industrious, and hard working, you will be missed.
Mulligans is great, the Casino is great, the park is great. Yes thinks are a little out of sorts since its still a construction area with barriers and the like but I assume Mulligans wanted a soft open before the project was done since they opened. I'm not sure why they would complain.

ReplyDeleteThe video shows Mark P as a huge drama queen! Instead they should have interviewed the poor old lady that got hurt to see her side.
ReplyDeleteLook people--Mark works for Mulligans. He does care.
ReplyDeleteIt was the city mgr who looked stupid here, not Perila.
ReplyDeleteWho approved the final plans?
ReplyDeleteTHE BEST COMMISSION EVER!
Why does the city manager look stupid?

ReplyDeleteThey are just asking for lighting, anonymous. It is pitch black up there. Talk about dumbing down.
ReplyDeleteBurt Aaronson is 84. Tell all your stuff to him. :)
