As we honored our service men and women today in Lake Worth, we couldn't help but think of the strife and contention in various parts of the world and all of those helping to make the planet a safer place--our embassy personnel throughout the world.
With the constant spinning and evasion of Benghazi by Obama, Barbara Jean kept it all alive today. She waved her homemade flag throughout the Veterans' Parade and received many thumbs up.
We the people need to know why the State Department ignored repeated warnings that security at Benghazi was deficient. On 9/11/12, did Washington receive or monitor requests for help during the attack? Did Obama direct the military to use all means to save American lives? What was the real reason behind the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, David H. Petraeus' resignation? And on top of everything else, Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, says she will be unavailable to testify next week.

ReplyDeletethe intelligence arm of our government operates exactly the same way under any president. They do as they wish and the congress turns a blind eye because they are all feeding at the same trough. There are no un-corruptible politicians in Washington. They are all dirty. That is the sad truth.
The 9-11 terrorist attacks were known to US intelligence long before they happened, and the cover up ensued. All of their failings will be covered up. It's the American way. The veteran whose letter you posted needs to wake up. The world changes. Nothing stays the same. Crying about what is gone will not bring it back. This is where we find ourselves, and we have only ourselves to blame.
