Public Employee Pensions Facing a Rollback



We are now seeing the beginning of a movement to stop Union greed. It's now becoming a snow-ball effect across the country to end the ridiculous Union contracts of yesteryear that are bankrupting cities throughout the nation. Of course, you won't see Occupiers or Democrats join this wave. They will continue to blame everything on the big corporations; they love Unions and love socialism.

The most prominent unions are among public sector employees such as teachers and police. The Police and Fire pensions continue to drag down Lake Worth. The biggest portion of our operating budget goes to Public Safety.

Voters in San Diego and San Jose, the nation's 8th and 10th largest cities, overwhelmingly approved ballot measures last week to roll back municipal retirement benefits — and not just for future hires but for current employees.
