Palm Beach Post given a jab by a Button

Buttons (Buttons?) Brokovich gave the Post hell this morning for its coverage of post election night in Lake Worth and its festivities. See Letters to the Editor.

Buttons was annoyed that the Post covered Amoroso's election party at The Hookah Bar, belly dancer and all, without focusing on the reasons for the victory.

What the Post didn't say and couldn't say was that having a party in a bar full of smoke is not the most pleasant experience in this life. Obnoxious, really...bad choice. Instead of just a cocktail that you can drink at The Hookah, you get secondhand smoke that is a toxic cocktail consisting of poisons and carcinogens. Even second hand smoke can kill. In most cases, (there are a few exceptions) supporting downtown businesses is the right idea and something Amoroso has always done.

It is no wonder that folks at his election celebration party, including Amoroso, left there and joined mayor Triolo at her party at Casa de Mara.
