Comment Up
The Utility Director, Becky Mattey, has given notice according to one of our commissioners.
Four of our top executives are either gone or have given notice. We need a strong city manager more than ever as the Utility Director now will be leaving as well as the Office of Management & Budget Manager, Ed Fry.
The City IS imploding.
Will Clay be elevated?
ReplyDeleteWHO ARE THE FOUR?
ReplyDeleteImploding? and its going to continue with this bunch in the commission and the mayor included.
ReplyDeleteSome people may like them but they dont know what they are doing to run and help the city. Who is quiting or being fired next? More, Im sure.
Susan Stanton, Joe Kroll, Ed Fry and Becky Mattey.
ReplyDeletestanton fired by the commission...
ReplyDeletekroll left because of stanton...
fry began looking long before stanton left...
and mattey wouldn't walk away from a six figure income unless something was up...
where is the conspiracy and if things truly are imploding, looks like stanton was the one who lit the fuse!
If Scott Maxwell had not been blasting the city manager over 2 years and undermining everything she was trying to accomplish and getting some of the employees agitated, this might have been different. It was the perfect storm and this city is now totally dysfunctional. Becky Mattey is getting out before the chit hits the fan on the whistleblower lawsuit.
ReplyDeleteSCOTT MAXWELL LIT THE FUSE
ReplyDeletehow can one person undermine a 4 member out of control freight train majority with a head strong manager? hell, every time the man spoke everyone acted like he wasn't even in the room. think someone is really giving someone way too much credit here or refusing to acknowledge some truths.
ReplyDeleteWhat whistle blower lawsuit?
ReplyDeleteThe truth here is that the former commission agreed with the CM. It was Maxwell forever planting the seed of doubt throughout the community even going so far as to write a web site that often times had negative and political one-sided information. His cry of "anarchists" among his buddies was ridiculous but stuck. Next he had those electric community meetings that were all bogus. He never was a team player and never saw good in anything that the city or the CM had accomplished. That was never his purpose which was to turn the dais to a new "vision" with no one knowing what it is. He was there to bring it all down. During the election, they used Dustin Zacks to drive in the final nail.
ReplyDeleteTo be clear, if you do not agree with an initiative or policy, you must "go along, to get along" and play nice on the playground?
ReplyDeleteSo what part of this "vision" serves the supporters and citizens of lake worth that agree with the "dissident" non conforming elected official?
I'm going to take a stab at this and suggest that each of us want's our individual position addressed by those whom we elect...we do not want them to sit there and do nothing to advance our position. Furthermore, they re-elected the guy so apparently some people were okay with what was going on.
Apparently.
ReplyDeleteThank God Mattey is leaving! I guess she figured without Stanton to protect her FMPA cheerleader butt, she could no longer hide what has really been going on at the utilities. How much of our money will be going with her? The utilites is a shambles, they screw up bills left and right. Mattey was incompetent at the very least.
ReplyDeleteShe's in a scramble to get out... without protection from above makes thievery not an option and with Andres' case closing in on her cheating and lying she's running for cover.
ReplyDeleteThere is a rumor that Andres'll be back in the utiltity.
