Hasta Mañana Shuffleboard Courts

Comment Up

City Manager Susan Stanton sees a recreation center as an opportunity to create a space that can both accommodate and integrate the town's diverse residents. Am I allowed to swear on this blog?

Plans will be limited by money and space constraints, but.....Read more about how our history is being erased right before our eyes.

  1. Are you kidding me, Ms. Stanton? This is BS and you know it.

  2. Susan Stanton is a control freak. If she screams that there is no money to do anything, including the Casino and our RO system, then the spineless Commissioners who do her bidding will gratefully believe her.Our Commissioners have forgotten that they serve US,you and me, and NOT Susan Stanton. Stanton is an empire builder. Revenue is her ultimate goal, not our quality of life,or what little of our history is left in this town.(Stanton wants the library torn down. So much for history).Expect to see the words "Lake Worth city hall" removed and replaced with"Welcome to Susan Stanton's house" any day now. and at Susan's house, the door is always firmly locked, and you and I,the public,is definitely not welcome.

  3. She is such a fake and con job from day one, even at her interview, she is not a women anyway, she uses this lady thing to get what she wants, if she was a man now, she would have been fired a long time ago. It is all related to her sick personality, she belongs in a mental institution.

  4. I was at her interview and thought it was excellent. She really did a lot of research on our City and our Commission and knew what buttons would move them. Ask Mayor Rene Varela about it. He was sitting next to me during that interview. We were and still are, a city in crisis. If anyone can turn us around, I would put my money on Stanton. It's the total power grab that I object to. We must deal with the Unions and she is doing just that.

  5. There is a segment of the city that openly and strongly recommended firing her months ago. "The best commission ever" did not see the need. By the time all you folks that supported these pathetically bad commissioners and supported keeping Stanton finally catch on it's going to be too late and.....
    Do! wrong again!
