President Trump is taking another swing at Washington’s spending machine—this time with an $810 million pocket rescission package.
This new plan targets 11 pots of previously appropriated federal funding and reaches across HHS, DHS, Education, HUD, DOJ, Commerce, and international programs.
The biggest item is $567 million in HHS funding for services towards “refugees, asylees, and other non-citizens.” In other words, stuff we shouldn’t be spending our money on.
The administration is also seeking to cancel $70 million for “international education programs and additional funding tied to race-based business programs and “DEI-focused health research.”
Whatever that means. [Heritage Action]
Good Night, Patriots!
I'm looking forward to the $5000 he has promised each one of us after the midterms and the $100 we should get to help pay for our Part B. Billions of dollars coming back to the American people!!
ReplyDelete@8:04...the caveat---Republicans will have to hold on to the House and the Senate at mid-terms. Did you hear his speech last night?
ReplyDeleteOn the $5000, yes, but he's going to win. If he doesn't, that means the elections are rigged and will have to be investigated and changed. Everyone on Medicare gets the $100 regardless, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping there are more refunds and giveaways before November. You never know!
