More than 140 House Democrats, including Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, voted Wednesday to codify President Trump's National Fraud Enforcement Division into law, handing the administration a lopsided bipartisan victory on a program that has already turned its sights on Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.The final tally was not close. The House passed the bill 352, 72, with every Republican voting in favor and all 72 opposing votes coming from Democrats.
The measure would make permanent a DOJ fraud unit that the Trump White House created by executive order in January 2026, converting it from a presidential directive into a standing division with a congressional mandate to target fraud against the federal government, federally funded programs, and private citizens.
For Democrats, the vote amounted to a forced choice: oppose a fraud-fighting bill and hand Republicans a ready-made attack ad, or support it and give Trump a legislative win on one of his signature enforcement priorities.
Most chose the second option. The result was a floor scene in which progressives voted yes while insisting the whole exercise was meaningless, and Republicans used the debate to spotlight the Minnesota fraud scandal that has put Walz and state Attorney General Keith Ellison under a federal microscope.

Great idea and good news! I just hope that they don't fall into fraud and corruption either! It's so sad to see all the fraud and corruption in our government today and by a lot of people American citizens but mostly it seems like it's from people who came from other countries originally how sad anyway we all need to pray for our country and our world that we can turn from all our sin and hate our fraud or corruption all our evil doings, turn to Jesus and try to be more like him!
