The only commissioner who wanted this was the Mayor. Perhaps Lantana has a better financial statement than we do. The city is crying poverty all of the time.
The thing is Ms Anderson our city dies the bare minimum for it’s citizens be they young or senior nothing new built, no playgrounds, benches and picnic tables , water fountains, ect unfortunately the Marxists are in full control. Sad!
The thing is, anonymous or mayor, come up with the money by reducing your expenses. On top of that, ask the residents about it. Why people have to be entertained at taxpayer expense when you all tried to give away our beach and golf course on 99 year leases to developers because you did not have the money to maintain them. It's not the Marxists in control; its the Democrats in Lake Worth Beach and a RINO or two still putting the screws in.
Agree MS Anderson. NEVER FORGET that this commission paid 80,000 dollars for a SPECIAL election because they thought nobody would come out to vote against the theft of our beach and parks! "It's only a 99 year lease" bull crap. Calvin Coolidge was president 99 years ago !!!! Do these Commissioners ever talk to the people they are supposed to be representing??? Except for McVoy, I'm surprised the rest of the Commission did not get lured into vans by the promise of candy when they were children.
We can’t have anything nice we’re the most backwards city in PBC even Lantana has nicer facilities for its citizens. Sad!
