Ohio Man Charged With Threatening To Decapitate Jim Jordan Over Medicaid

A federal criminal complaint has charged Jeffrey Dorsey, a 60-year-old resident of Dayton, Ohio, with making violent threats against Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), after Jordan backed a GOP budget reported by left-wing sources to purportedly include wide-reaching reductions to Medicaid, potentially resulting in 10 million fewer Americans enrolled by 2034.However, President Trump has repeatedly made clear: there will be no cuts to Medicaid.
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act aims to protect and strengthen Medicaid for those who depend on it — including pregnant women, children, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income families.
The law targets waste, fraud, and abuse by removing ineligible recipients, such as illegal immigrants, and by enforcing work requirements. Supporters argue that the reforms ensure Medicaid remains sustainable and reserved for the truly vulnerable.
