The woman victim, a Russian, Fled U.S. After Brutal Mob Attack

The attack, which occurred during the early hours of Saturday, July 27, was captured on video and shows a coordinated assault by a black mob.

Prosecutors allege that Merriweather and Matthews conspired in the ambush, with Merriweather whispering instructions before the attack. A Cincinnati police detective described the scene as a “set up,” stating, “Ultimately, we do have on video Mr. Merriweather walking up to co-defendant. He whispers something to him then walks back behind the victim.”

The victims were chased, knocked to the ground, and repeatedly punched and kicked. It looked as though they were trying to kill them.

While the facts of the case point to a racially motivated attack—with a white man and a Russian woman as victims—the liberal media has been reluctant to frame it as such.
