More Trump Derangement from Media

SICK MSM: Afghan Refugee Story Hijacked for Anti-Trump Rant

The liberal media’s obsession with attacking President Donald Trump has reached embarrassing new heights—or rather, new depths—in a recent CBS report that bizarrely shoehorned cheap, irrelevant jabs at the 45th president into what should have been a straightforward human-interest story.

The network’s pathetic attempt to smear Trump, while downplaying the real issues at hand, is a glaring example of how far the once-respected Tiffany Network has fallen.

The segment, which ostensibly focused on an Afghan refugee now working with Catholic Charities, opened with a cringe-worthy, politically charged introduction by CBS anchors Maurice DuBois and John Dickerson.

Instead of leading with the heartwarming story of resilience, they opted for a disjointed rant about Trump’s past remarks, including his well-known “dictator on day one” quip and a lighthearted joke about the papal succession.
DuBOIS: “Candidate Donald Trump said he would be a dictator, but only on day one of his presidency. Well, now on day 100, he had a different idea. He said he’d like to be pope.”

DICKERSON: “That was his joking response when a reporter asked if he had a preference as to who should succeed Pope Francis.”
Liberals don't understand Trump's humor
