Time Magazine to Name Trump 'Person of the Year': Politico
Donald Trump is expected to be named Time magazine's "Person of the Year" and to celebrate the unveiling of the cover, the president-elect will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning, Politico reported Wednesday citing three people familiar. In late November, betting sites had President-elect Donald Trump as the favorite to win Time magazine's Person of the Year.
Nonetheless, it wouldn't be the first time Trump grabbed the accolade. He's already walking back the promises he made to get folks to vote for him.

@4:14...do you think that prices should come down overnight? Is it that simple. Give it time.
ReplyDeleteImpossible, prices are not going down never going to happen. Yes we need Trump but please be realistic
Delete"But when asked if he'd be able to bring grocery costs down once in office, Trump admitted that while he was optimistic, "It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard." He said that even if prices on the shelves didn't fall, he didn't think it would mark his presidency as a failure."
ReplyDeleteI voted for him because he said he would do it. I was tired of paying high grocery prices and he said he would do it. It's a no-brainer, right? Now he says he hopes he can do it but it's hard and if he doesn't succeed he still wouldn't call his presidency a failure. He doesn't sound as confident as he did before he got elected and that worries me.
We have to become energy independent once again and open up the pipeline...are you being serious or just putting everyone on here?
ReplyDeleteBiden and company (mostly company because Biden didn't even know where in the fuc he was most of the time) took 4 years to wreck our entire economy. Give Trump about one weeks grace period, okay ?
ReplyDeleteMake Mexico pay for the groceries!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone really read anything here? Trump's comments are about what he may not be able to do when he's POTUS. It's obvious he isn't going to have an effect now...he's not even in office.
ReplyDeleteAnd how is Mexico going to pay for our groceries?
This place has become a hangout for weirdos and idiots.
@8:44...I agree...it was a stupid comment. Came from a Democrat, most likely.
ReplyDelete@10:02...As Trump said, “It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up,” Trump said in his Time Magazine “Person of the Year” interview published Thursday, referring to grocery prices. “You know, it’s very hard…But I think that they will. I think that energy is going to bring them down.”
