Last night was the annual Al Smith Dinner to raise money for Catholic charities. It's a tradition in presidential years for both candidates to attend and lightly roast each other. A way to lower the temperature of what is generally a contentious election. Kamala Harris, of course, didn't show up. Donald Trump did, and he cooked. "White Dudes for Harris" got it worst.
You remember "White Dudes for Harris," right?
PRESIDENT TRUMP: "There’s a group called “White Dudes for Harris”... but I’m not worried about them at all, because their wives and their wives’ lovers are all voting for me."
It was one of his top humorous lines of the night.
