Donald Trump to speak behind bulletproof glass in North Carolina at first outdoor rally after he was shot
Donald Trump holds his first open-air rally on Wednesday since being shot, but will deliver his speech from behind bullet-proof glass.Shipping containers were stacked two high around the perimeter of the site at the North Carolina Aviation Museum in Asheboro, obscuring the line of sight to the podium where the former president will address supporters.
He is making his third appearance of the week as he seeks to draw the spotlight away from the Democratic Party's convention in Chicago and restart a campaign that has stuttered ever since Joe Biden dropped out of the race to be replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump expected around 2pm today!
He was great, May God protect him!
