Donald Trump's Latest Campaign Ad

The campaign for former President Donald Trump released a new one-minute commercial this week with narration from former President Ronald Reagan.

In this ad, Donald Trump utilizes a question asked by candidate Ronald Reagan during the 1980 debate with Jimmy Carter 'are you better off than you were four years ago.'

The ad starts with the introduction "Please welcome President Ronald Reagan, who has a few questions" before going to a retro-style television featuring an overlay of Reagan as he begins speaking behind a podium.

  1. Four years ago, we were in the first summer of COVID and people were fighting in the store for TP and waiting in long lines for food.

  2. In 2020, the shortage of TP had a lot to do with "panic" buying. Some blamed it on the supply chain but more than 99% of tissue products are manufactured in the United States. Don't remember long line for food.

  3. Whatever the reason for it back then, we definitely aren't fighting for it today, are we?

Here's an article on the lines in Boynton Beach. People really weren't better off 4 years ago.

  4. @4:12...no one in the world was "better off" during Covid. But that is not your point, is it?

  5. Cvd19 was a scam to rig and steal elections from President Trump, he still really won, and most people know it, God knows it too! Pray for him and the USA, MAGA

  6. My point is that we weren't better off 4 years ago than we are today. The Trump ad that you reference in the post implies that we were. It appears that you agree with me that his ad is not accurate.

  8. You probably won't receive this in the way I mean it...but I'm going to try anyway.

When Harris is elected in November (it IS going to happen) and Donald Trump begins to fade into oblivion, America will finally be able to start healing. I don't speak for all Democrats but I will say that for myself, the Republican Party will be welcomed back into the discussion of the future of this country. Because together, we are stronger as a Nation. Together, even with our differences, we can still get things done that better ALL American lives. That's not happening now because we are at each other's throats. I will welcome the change. Not all will, of course. And some will stay angry. But they will be the minority and they will be left behind in the discussions that occur between the two parties. The change and the transformation in our politics is something that all Americans should look forward to and anticipate. If for no other reason than it makes us a stronger, healthier country.
