Driver Attempted To Run Gate At Texas Air Force Base
It's starting! On Tuesday, chaos erupted at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis when an unidentified driver crashed through the main entry gate, causing Air Force guards to fire several shots at the vehicle in a desperate attempt to stop the threat.
According to reports, the driver was spotted by security forces speeding towards the gate at an alarmingly high rate of speed and in the wrong direction of traffic. Despite attempts to stop the driver, the vehicle managed to gain access to the base and drove around for several minutes before exiting the gate and speeding back out.
The suspect, whose identity has not been released, was later apprehended by the San Antonio Police Department about nine miles from the base following a separate incident. It is unclear if the two incidents were related, but the suspect is currently in custody and under investigation.
Fort Sam Houston was also forced to close one of its gates and place some buildings on lockdown after gunshots were heard from a nearby wooded area.
Eagle Pass, Texas has declared a state of emergency as 11,000 illegals crosed the border, some of whom most probably are terrorists.

It is starting. I saw a young, Middle Eastern looking guy wearing a backpack hanging out near the library today and got scared when he started spending a lot of time on his phone like he was planning something. But then his Mom came by and picked him up and I relaxed. Turns out he was a Mexican kid who was let out of school. I finally was able to get out of my car and walk down the street. You can't be too careful these days.
ReplyDelete@8:04 pm...not saying to get paranoid...LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's paranoid to be careful. I read a number of blogs every day and based upon what I'm seeing we all need to be alert. Like you said, "It's starting" and I totally agree. Anonymous did the right thing by not approaching the suspicious person but watched him until they determined he wasn't a threat.
