DeSantis sends cargo planes with supplies to Israel

DeSantis’ Secret Shipment

At this point, its painfully obvious that we have a commander in chief who is actively seeking to rip our country apart piece by piece. And this destructive agenda is forcing states to act on their own as if they were separate nations.

This is exactly what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is doing, and for good reason. While President Joe Biden fails to do anything about hundreds of innocent Americans trapped in Israel, DeSantis refuses to sit idly by.

He’s taking action—even if it has to be done quietly—to make sure these people are taken care of.

Two cargo planes left from Florida for Israel on October 17 carrying “medical supplies, clothing items, hygiene products and children’s toys” according to Governor DeSantis’s office and CNN news reports. What was not mentioned initially was that two drones plus body armor and helmets were also sent with the shipment at Israel’s request.

  1. At least he's doing something that's better than doing nothing sitting around talking about it not doing anything

  2. @4:58...did the main stream news pick it up?
Biden has given plenty to Israel with most of the $$$ going towards weapons.

  3. Why is he sending aid to Israel not to our own impoverished cities. Israel is bombing Gaza with no problems one Israeli soldier hasn’t been injured? Enough with globalism, ain’t Soros Jewish he could finance the whole war.

  5. DeSantis sure likes spending Florida taxpayer money to make himself look good, doesn't he? He's not doing anything more than the US Govt. is doing. Sorry if I'm not as overjoyed about it as most people apparently are.

  6. Not sure how much surplus money we have in Florida but last year it was nearly $22 billion. DeSantis originally was concerned about Florida citizens stuck in war torn Israel and no way of getting out. These latest planes brought supplies to actually help the people there, whereas Biden was sending money for armaments, etc.
So, all you liberals can complain all you want.
Let's end this war and help Israel Annihilate Hamas and save the people of Israel.

  7. The US Government was flying US citizens out of Israel for 2 days before DeSantis sent in his first plane. They were also moved out by buses, trains...even a cruise ship...so Biden was already at work by the time DeSantis decided to create theater by using Florida taxpayer money to make himself look good.

I don't mind taxpayer money to help US citizens trapped in a foreign country during a war. What I do mind is a guy using tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to boost his campaign image. Waste is waste, whether or not there is "surplus money" or not. It's our money and it shouldn't be used by a presidential candidate to boost his campaign.

  8. You don't mind Biden using taxpayer dollars?
Florida partnered with Project Dynamo to bring nearly 300 evacuees home from Israel, including more than 270 to Tampa and seven to Orlando.
On October 12, 2023, Governor DeSantis signed Executive Order 23-208 to allow the State of Florida to carry out logistical, rescue and evacuation operations to keep its residents safe. Specifically, this order enables the Florida Division of Emergency Management to bring Floridians home and transport necessary supplies to Israel.
    He was rescuing Floridians.
Also, the rescue from the federal government was flying people to other countries where they had to find a flight and pay for their own transportation to the United States or wherever.

  9. I pretty clearly said that I don't mind taxpayer money being used to rescue Americans but I do have a problem with a presidential candidate using tens of millions of taxpayer to create theater to help his presidential campaign. It's the job of the US Govt. to rescue these citizens not Ron DeSantis. He did it to boost his image for his presidential campaign.

You might want to check and see how many Floridians he actually wound up bringing home. Most of the passengers were from out of state.

The goal was to get Americans out of a war zone as quickly as possible and the US Government did that.

  10. You accused DeSantis of doing this for his campaign image...pretty low estimation of a great Governor.
A plane only holds so many people.
He actually brought them back to the U.S. unlike Biden.
