Russian Foreign Minister told us off

Russia Just Smacked the State Dept Right Across the Mouth

The Russians just smacked our State Department right across the mouth.

Our diplomats requested to see jailed Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich.

He was arrested for espionage, even though the Russians have yet to produce a single shred of evidence of his guilt.

The request was denied, dealing Secretary Antony Blinken and this administration another foreign policy blow.

This move by the Russians was a direct response to the United States blocking Russian reporters from accompanying Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to the United Nations. Lavrov added:
A country that calls itself the strongest, smartest, free and fair country has chickened out and done something stupid by showing what its sworn assurances about protecting freedom of speech and access to information are really worth.”

  1. Good for Russia. I wish they would do more to embarrass America. It's good for the Republican Party.

  2. The foreign minister made a correct assumption about the Biden administration. But, Russia is our enemy in every respect.
No one condones Russia and their vile leaders.

  5. According to Pew, 92% of Americans say they have an unfavorable view of the country, including 69% who have a very unfavorable view. Russia earned this distinction when it invaded Ukraine and has annihilated that country killing over 130 thousands of innocent people.
Not sure that any Communist nation is a friend of the U.S.

  7. How do you suppose they got such an unfavorable view of Russia? I'll bet it was taught to them in those public schools they went to.

  8. Anyone threatening nuclear war is OUR ENEMY.
Anyone who is against American principles...against capitalism...wanting the demise/eradication of democratic countries...is our enemy.

  10. Any country that has nuclear weapons, is tacitly threatening nuclear war.

  11. The difference here is that Putin has actually threatened to use nuclear. And, he says he means it. I don't doubt him but we are pushing his button supplying Ukraine with armaments, etc.

  15. If you're a Finn, you know that the Finns won the Winter War, and the Russians saluted them. I like the Finns as well as the Russians. I like countries where intelligent people live. That would exclude the one I'm living in.

Russia is a hard country, and the people have had terrible hardships over the years. They write wonderful literature and compose magnificent music. I just finished reading a fantastic book by a Finnish Author, about Native Americans and their valiant attempts to keep the colonists at bay.

There are no bad countries, only stupid people.
