Commission votes to reduce electric rates for all Lake Worth Beach Utility customers
FPL is raising its rates
On May 2, the city commission voted in approval of reducing the Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) charge on bills for all residential and commercial electric customers effective June 1. This adds to the reductions that went into effect on May 1.The city commission provided an example stating, "A typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month of electricity will experience a reduction of $7.29 per month in their bills effective May 1, followed by a further reduction of $22.30 per month effective June 1, for a total reduction of $29.59 in time for the summer cooling season."
The water charges and sewer are the ones I am most concerned about.
