Transgender Day Proclamation in Lake Worth Beach
Lake Worth has a Proclamation for just about anything and one recognizing Transgender Day is no exception which will be on the November 15 agenda.
Transgender Day is an annual observance on November 20th that honors the memory of the transgender individuals who lost their lives at the hands of injustice.
I will always remember how our former city manager was treated by certain people on the dais because she was transgender. It was despicable then and still would be today. She was ultimately fired and I believe the reason for it was transgender discrimination as she was a damn good city manager.
I willnever understand transgederism. Don't understand it, never will, but they are entitled to their lives and to live it within the laws.
ReplyDeletewith all these countrys ,races, sexes, lets have a day for straight white people
ReplyDeleteMore to the point: Who cares?
ReplyDeleteIf people were more engaged in their lives and careers, their families or hobbies, their gender wouldn't be an issue. There have always been transgender people, if that is how they want to be known. What's the big deal?
There are many other things the city should be focusing on.
Could we please have Bornstein back?
