Helping Haiti

U.S. to help Haiti with gang violence crisis

'We need them to come over to help us,' said one Haitian

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — Calls for help have led the United States to send a delegation to Haiti to help with the overwhelming gang violence that has taken over the island nation.

“They always send to kill people, to kidnap people and then to take everything from the people,” said Orestal Michel, a Lake Worth resident who has family in Haiti. “We need them to come over to help us because the gangs, we cannot stop them.”

The U.S. is deploying the Coast Guard to patrol the waters of Haiti and also a visa restriction is blocking those connected to gang violence.

Orestal, can you also ask our government to send troops to our southern border to stop the influx of thousands of illegals crossing every day involved in drugs, human trafficking and crimes.

  4. Sounds like Haiti is a lot like World thrift store on Dixie, complete chaos with all the lawless Haitians there screaming, blocking isles, and behaving so badly, must be their culture ! They have also made a mess here of south Florida too, greedy and selfish very materialistic! Sad for them, but not a surprise, the Haitian men are the ones who used to come to downtown lake worth and do all the guat bashings of all the Guatemalan on weekends after being paid robbing them and beating them up. Haitians need to turn to God! Maybe Father Quesnel can help his people.

  7. Father Quesnel is the Catholic priest at sacred heart church in lwb who is from haiti, he shouts so much like a baptist preacher-yelling, not enjoyable going to his masses. He has chased most American born parishioners away, we are not used to Catholic priests in the USA screaming at their congregation. He also chased away a gay friend who went here for 30 years talking bad about gays not able to be families.

  9. After seeing for so many years all of the Haitians going around driving in their cars stopping and beating up and robbing all of the single men Guatemalans that were walking in the streets sometimes drunk robbing them and beating them up and leaving them for dead on the side of the streets along the ABCD streets of lake Worth it was very heartbreaking it made me lose a lot of respect for the Haitian people, that their people were coming to this country and committing these types of horrible crimes and violence toward another immigrant population, the Haitians really treated the Guatemalans very poorly in lake Worth I can understand why many of them are so afraid of Haitian people it was very very sad to see and I don't know if it still happens but it's heartbreaking!

  11. The thing about father Quesnel at sacred heart Catholic church in lake Worth is he has the same mentality and speaks a lot like Ilan Omar, Rita talib AOC, the squad, he has that same kind of rhetoric somewhat hypocritical hateful and he just yells too much, it's sad that he chased friends of our ours away from that church by his gay hate speech. So unJesus of him!

  12. We as a gay couple go to another Catholic church in Palm Beach diocese we see our priest at our gym he completely ignores us avoids us dismisses us and denies us even if we say hello to him he ignores us, that's how he treats people, he's probably gay himself but an uncomfortable and insecure gay priest but it's sad that a lot of Catholic priests today treat their parishioners so unlike Jesus would want them to. And they're supposed to represent the church and be godly and holy yet they deny and ignore their own parishioners like the rich man did in the Bible to Lazarus and look what happened to him Lazarus got to go to heaven and the rich old man went to hell!

  13. There are a lot of Haitian men that are gay but it's hard and their culture and society to come out even the gay Haitians here in the United States I guess biden has his speaker that is a gay Haitian Karin Jean-Pierre, I don't like her or care for how she speaks, she's very hateful and she seems to lie a lot just like biden does.

  14. We used to have a Haitian Catholic priest living across the street from us he was very very nice and I'm a white very athletic muscular good looking guy and I would always do a lot of yard work and stuff in my yard and every time I was outside with my shirt off he was always coming over to the house and trying to talk to me I always kind of sensed like he was trying to come on to me but of course I never did anything with him but it just made me think and speculate or wonder that he might be gay.

  15. My experience with Haitians has been completely different. Maybe they think this is the way American's act, as American kids are hardly much different.

Most of the Probation Officers at Juvenile Justice, are Haitian, or 1st or 2nd generation, and you couldn't find a more dedicated, hard-working group of people.

America has become a lawless wasteland, so what they would probably hang you for in Haiti, they probably give you cash-free bail here!

  16. I think a lot of Catholic priests that come from other third world countries like Haiti or Colombia or South America Central America most of them are probably gay because they're escaping all the poverty and the poor life they would have to live there to come to the United States and since the United States needs more priests they're always taking in tons of Catholic priests from other countries so I think it's an easy route out of a poor country to come to this country as a priest even if you're gay it's a way out of that country to come here and be in the United States. I know that in the Palm Beach County Diocese there are a lot of Haitian priests here in this diocese.

  17. All the money in the world that you can send to haiti or to any of these countries it'll never help them! We really need to teach all countries and all people to just use self-governance and we all need to self-govern ourselves and in our society because all of the corrupt politicians all they're doing is bleeding and robbing and stealing all the money that we have and then extending it even to more and more debt like they have in the United States we need self-governance because the elected officials in this government we have right now in the United States has destroyed the United States of America!

  18. How can we help Haiti with crime when we have so much crime here in the United States of America right now? One of the biggest reasons why they have so much crime is they have a corrupt government and that's the same reason why we have so much crime in the United States too as we have a corrupt government! An illegitimate regime, like in Haiti.Recall it was Biden that was the one that caused that regime change there to have such bad corrupt leaders! My husband said that the United States of America is going to be going to become just like Haiti completely crime- infested with a lot of gang members and killings and shootings and horrible crimes like what's happening in Haiti right now it's really getting there here too, corrupt governments want this! That what all these Marxists governments want!

  19. Boy, that brought the haters out of the woodwork!

So Haitians are mostly gay, and stupid and lazy.

And when Jesus walked the earth, there was no Haiti? That may be, but the Island was there, and the French occupied areas of Africa took the Africans to the island called Haiti. And why was that I ask?

Well, if you would ask Nancy Pelosi, it was to pick crops. And in this instance, she would be right.

  20. I'm afraid that the downfall of the Catholic Church is going to happen from within there's a lot of corruption in the Catholic church right now especially in the Vatican and all the powers that be the corruption is so rampant that's why Pope Benedict stepped down and now why Pope Francis also wants to step down it's hard being a pope with so much corruption when the Catholic Church goes down it's going to be because of them and what they do within their institution that cause it. Like on the news the other day on channel 5 News it was saying about how a priest and the manager at a Catholic Church in Vero Beach called Holy Cross stoled 1.5 million dollars from their parishioners over 5-year period very sad for a priest to be stealing. This also happened a few years ago down in Delray Beach or Boca where a priest stole a lot of money from his parish. If the Catholic Church goes down it's because of the priests because of the corruption because of what's happening with inside the institution they're going to cause it themselves!

  21. Haitian gangs behaviors is a reflection of their bad corrupt government and regime it's the same in the United States that's why we're having so much crime and no one respects anyone anymore because we have the same problem with the government in the United States a bad foul mouthed regime look at how biden speaks using the f word and how nasty he is that's just how a lot of people are today people are doing and behaving the way they see their government behave, it's corruption so they think it's okay and they do it too that's why there's so much crime today in the United States and in Haiti and around the world! People are behaving exactly like their government elected officials they're greedy selfish corrupt commit fraud don't want to work in a mediocre and I just really really bad to the bone people because that's how our elected are today too!

  22. Like the Catholic Church the United States government is also destroying itself from within they're the reason for their own destruction or demise their greed corruption power mediocrity self-serving ways will catch up to the destruction of the United States government as it is just like the Catholic Church the same thing will happen to them!

  23. The Catholic Church will be here long after the United States is gone.

  24. Not the way the priests and the Vatican are behaving now I don't think so!
