Florida fights Biden's failed Immigration Policy

Biden Administration tells court Florida can’t name specific harm from federal immigration practices

  • In response to an immigration lawsuit filed by Florida, the Biden Administration has argued that Florida can’t identify any direct injury caused by federal immigration practices
  • Attorney General Ashley Moody says that state does have standing to challenge federal policy because illegal immigration is costing the state hundreds of millions of dollars
  • The lawsuit was filed last year, and immigration became a top issue after Gov. Ron DeSantis flew illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard
Attorney General Ashley Moody’s office, meanwhile, contended that the state has “standing” to challenge federal immigration policies that Florida maintains are costing it hundreds of millions of dollars.

Lawyers in Moody’s office filed the case last year, alleging that the Biden administration violated immigration laws through policies that led to people being released from detention after crossing the U.S. border with Mexico.

The Biden administration continues to make new laws allowing these illegals to enter our country. It's a farce of the biggest magnitude and costing American citizens multi-billions if not trillions of dollars.
