Mark Zuckerberg admits to suppressing information on Hunter's Laptop

Zuckerberg Admits Facebook Suppressed Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Mark Zuckerberg admitted that Facebook did suppress articles related to the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story ahead of the 2020 presidential election after the FBI warned about “Russian propaganda.”

Mark Zuckerberg tells Joe Rogan that Facebook algorithmically censored the Hunter Biden laptop story for 7 days based on a general request from the FBI to restrict election misinformation

The Meta CEO’s claim came during a lengthy interview with “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Zuckerberg told host Joe Rogan that the FBI approached Facebook with a warning that they “should be on high alert.”

Zuckerberg said the FBI believed that a “dump” of “Russian propaganda” was about to occur, and the bureau warned them to “be vigilant.”

“We just kind of thought: Hey, look, if the FBI, which I still view is a legitimate institution in this country, it’s a very professional law enforcement — they come to us and tell us that we need to be on guard about something, then I want to take that seriously,” Zuckerberg said.
