DeSantis Sounds Alarm on Chinese Communist Party Land Purchases in Florida

Speaking to Fox News' Laura Ingraham, DeSantis - considered a potential 2024 presidential candidate - says it's a growing concern.
  • "I don't think they should be able to do it. I think the problem is these companies have ties to the CCP"
  • The governor's solution has been to begin banning what he calls 'undue influence from rogue states' like China's ruling party
  • The state has already banned what's known as a 'Confucius Institute,' public pro-China educational and cultural promotion programs

    The question is: Who is selling it to them?

    As far as Confucius: It wouldn't hurt the schools in this country to touch on this subject. There are many things we could teach to improve the minds of our children. When you spend even a little time with Kung Fu, and the other Martial Arts, you have to come to grips with the fact that the masters of these disciplines are better prepared for life than those of western cultures.

    Many parents are taking advantage of the proliferation of Martial Arts classes and enrolling their kids in these classes.
