Robb Elementary School
Joe Biden is considering demolishing Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas where the shooting took place to construct a new campus in its place, State Sen. Roland Gutierrez said.
"Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin confirmed there are plans to destroy Robb Elementary, where 19 children and two teachers were killed on May 24, and State Sen. Roland Gutierrez (D-San Antonio) says a federal grant may pay for the demolition.
McLaughlin visited the site of the growing memorial outside Robb Elementary recently and said it was moving and that messages of love and support have come from all over the world.
Still, McLaughlin said no one is eager to force children to return to school in the building where so many of their classmates were killed.
“I don’t think anybody’s plans are but to tear that building down,” McLaughlin said. “I would never ask, expect, a child to ever have to walk in those doors ever, ever again. That building needs to be gone.”
Gutierrez, whose district covers Uvalde, also supports demolishing the elementary school and shared those concerns with President Joe Biden during his visit to Uvalde on Sunday."
@8:41...LOL You get Biden involved, that means the federal government will pay. Was Parkland demolished? Was Sandy Hook demolished? what about Columbine? This is so over the top--demolishing a school to rebuild and spend multi-millions. Biden IS responsible--for the illegals, our borders, crime, inflation, gas prices, food, you name it. And as President, he's responsible.
No, as the story clearly states, no one wants the kids going back into a school where they saw their classmates get gunned down. You can say all you want that it's just Biden, but it isn't. Those are the facts.
The Parkland HS wing remains vacant and officials want it torn down. There is state money to do it.
@11:30. Biden didn't have to involve himself by saying build a new school. If that city government and the people who live there want to do that, fine. And who said I wanted to send money to Ukraine? I don't support an evil SOB, Putin as you seem to do Democrats/Liberals have a way of twisting everything and that's why no one likes you or trusts you.
If those residents of that town have to pay for a new school out of their pockets rather than the government picking up the tab, I think their emotions would change about it. No one is thinking rationally at the moment.
The residents of the town didn't build the school. Schools are a massive expense and are the responsibility of the State. Texas is a wealthy state, and they can afford to build a school.
When it comes to Ukraine, I am on the side of right. Zelensky is a crook who thought he could cozy up to the west and the west would defend him against Russia. How is that working out for him? The Ukrainians are paying a hefty price for an allusion of freedom. "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." The Americans have found that out. Now our freedom can't even buy us baby food, let alone put gas in our cars.

Everyone wants it demolished. Joe Biden isn't solely responsible for every single thing that happens in America.

I don't care who pays for it. You can't expect those children to go back into that school.
ReplyDeleteIf your family was massacred in your house, would you go back and live there?
You would rather send money to Ukraine? Sometimes I wonder if you are human!
