China Moves to Buy a Major American News Outlet
And we're allowing it!
"A Chinese-government-controlled company has put in an offer to buy Forbes, the major American news company that built its name on financial analysis.According to the Free Beacon, Magnum Opus, the CCP-controlled company in question, announced its intent to acquire the property last August.
Now, that deal looks to be nearing completion, and it’s drawing outrage from Republicans who are pointing out what a major security risk the move represents.
Senators warn the firm's bid to buy Forbes poses a national security threat and would allow the Chinese Communist Party to push its propaganda."
Allowing foreign countries to buy American property and firms should be against the law. China is literally buying the farm. China has bought up at least 192,000 acres of farmland that we know of (there are probably straw owners), they bought Smithfield Foods, the nation’s largest pork producer, and Syngenta, the world’s largest maker of crop protection chemicals and the No.3 seed producer, that indicate it is trying to control the American food market. You don't sell yourself to foreign adversaries and this is exactly what we are doing in America today.
