As War Rages, Biden Leaves the White House to Spend Weekend in Delaware
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky angrily criticized NATO on Friday for refusing to enact a no-fly zone over Ukraine, citing the damage taken by major Ukrainian cities from Russian bombing. The United States and NATO have little interest in trying to enforce a no-fly zone by challenging Russian planes, which would likely trigger a full-scale war.
“All the people who will die starting from this day will also die because of you. Because of your weakness, because of your disunity,” Zelensky said in a video address.

why are people concerned about biden taking weekends off?
ReplyDeleteThe world is much better off each weekend when babbling biden isnt in Washington ruining everything he touches. Or pushing through what the radical leftist are making him do.
Lets go Brandon.
Lynn! Forget about Ukraine Lynn. Where were you when we destroyed Iraq? What do you think would happen if Texas went back to Mexico? You should do some more reading, and not the stupid publications you post for your readers consumption. Are you tired of living? The things you suggest sound like you are tired of living.
ReplyDeleteBalance of Power Lynn, it's about Balance of Power!
The ONLY thing I am tired of are people like you. Take a walk
ReplyDeleteYou're telling Lynn to forget about Ukraine and then talk about Iraq. Two different scenarios anonymous at 12:27. It has been admitted that the intelligence in Iraq was wrong about weapons of mass destruction but the world believed it to be true at that time. Ukraine has been invaded by a tyrant, an evil one. The United states and Biden is looking the other way and allowing an entire country to be destroyed along with its citizens as well as children. We could be next as Russia is just biding time to take us down too.
ReplyDeleteIraq was also invaded by a tyrant. If people are too stupid to find out the truth, I can't help them. We invaded and completely destroyed Iraq for no reason that had anything to do with National Security. Everybody knows it!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Viet Nam: What was our National Security issue there? We totally destroyed that country as well. How many children did we kill there?
Don't try to color it like we're some big savior of the Free World!
We are a complete flop, and now, can barely defend ourselves if we had to.
If you really hate this country, why are you living here?
ReplyDeleteObviously you hate Republicans when you talk about Iraq. Our intel told us that Iraq was/had and were using weapons of mass destruction that harbored and supported terrorists. They committed outrageous human rights abuses and defied the just demands of the United Nations and the world. We did something about it.
As far as Vietnam goes, 21 countries were in that war. It was definitely ill-advised but the problem started when two of our ships were fired upon by North Vietnam. That was an act of war. Also, at that time, we were paranoid about communism...still don't like nor want it as those evil bastards are still trying to take over the world.
Iraq was all lies and you know it. Colin Powell fell on his sword for the Administration.
ReplyDeleteThe real problem is that we have no credible foreign policy. We have no smart people running the country. Argue with that! Blinken couldn't negotiate his way out of a paper bag, and Trump, who actually knew how to talk to people like Putin, couldn't put his ego out of the way long enough to forge a long-term plan for dealing with Russia.
Now, we have a big problem. As Ed Sullivan used to say: Really Big!
We NOW know Irag was a bunch of lies; we didn't know that then. So, give Bush a break as Congress approved of this action.

I agree with "no smart people running the country." Trump had way too many problems to solve while he was in office and it had nothing to do with his ego. IMO, of course.
There are people who spend their whole lives studying, analyzing, and basically seeking out the truth. Based on their analysis, they form opinions. These people generally write books. You don't have to believe what they write in their books, but their research, analysis and opinions generally give you something to think about.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to paint them all with the same brush, but these people, (Intellectuals we call them) are usually from prominent families, otherwise they wouldn't have the time and money to do what they do.
Sometimes you meet a person, who is a veteran, or just someone walking their dog, who seems to see things like the intellectual.
That's because everybody has the ability to think. That is the one gift they can't take away from us. And if you spend enough time reading and thinking, you will eventually become an intellectual without a great university, or prominent parents.
The late Charles Krauthammer would be one of these intellectuals. You didn't always have to agree with him, but you could certainly learn from him. R.I,P, Charles.
