Palm Beach Pride Celebration

This weekend, March 25-27, Palm Beach Pride will be celebrated in Downtown Lake Worth Beach. This year Pride returns for its 30th Anniversary! Palm Beach Pride, first hosted by Compass LGBTQ+ Community Center in 1992, will make its triumphant return to Bryant Park, Lake Worth Beach, FL from 12pm-6pm on March 26 & 27, 2022 and will feature a host of new features for people to get excited about . . . including a mass wedding ceremony!

On Friday, March 25, the Night Runners 5k Pride Run/Walk will kick off the festivities. For the safety of those participating parking and vehicular traffic will be temporarily prohibited from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

1. 1st Ave S from Ocean Breeze to Golfview Rd.
2. Ocean Breeze from 1st Ave S to 5th Ave S
3. 5th Ave S from Ocean Breeze to Golfview Rd.
4. S. Palmway from 5th Ave S. to 18th Ave S.
5. 18th Ave S. from S. Palmway to S. Lakeside Dr
6. S. Lakeside Drive from 18th to 5th Ave S.
7. J Street between Lake Ave and Lucerne Ave.

On Sunday, March 27, The Pride Parade, with the theme of “Proud Together”, starts at 11am. The parade travels down Lake Ave in Downtown Lake Worth Beach into Bryant Park to kick off the second day of Pride festivities. For the safety of the more then 200 Parade participants parking and vehicular traffic will be temporarily prohibited from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

1. Lucerne Ave from Dixie Hwy to Federal Hwy
2. Lake Ave from Dixie Hwy to Golfview Rd
3. J, K, L, M will be closed at the alleyway prior to Lake Ave and the alleyway prior to Lucerne Ave
4. Federal, Ocean Breeze, Palmway, and Lakeside will be closed at Lake Ave

Please follow detours and allow extra time when travelling in this area.

  3. The last time I attended a Gay Pride Parade, if I had been gay, I would have been embarrassed. I don't think some of it is funny and GLBTQ should have more pride than some of the displays put on by some participating. People are what they are without degrading them. I dunno. It's how I felt.
