WV Governor Slams Bette Midler During State of State Address After She Called Resident “Poor and Illiterate”

The 70-year-old Republican Governor Jim Justice took aim at Midler — and other haters — at the end of his televised state of the state address when he held up his English bulldog and flashed its rear to the crowd.

“Babydog tells Bette Midler and all those out there: Kiss her heinie,” Justice said, prompting huge applause and a standing ovation.
