Palm Beach County Declared State of Emergency
The county commission got in a panic and voted unanimously yesterday to declare a state of emergency because of the recent surge of Covid cases due to the Delta Variant and lack of hospital beds. I trust Mayor Kerner and his level head.Dr. Alina Alonso, director of the county's state run Health Department, said that this crisis has been fueled by the unvaccinated who are vulnerable to the Delta variant. All hospitals now will have to submit daily reports as to how many they are treating and how many are on ventilators.
Governor DeSantis refuses to mandate masks and has stated that infusion therapy is effective in reducing the serious affects of Covid-19, agreed to by Dr. Alonso. But she stated people should get vaccinated.

There isn't any virus in Palm Beach County. Everywhere I go, no one is wearing masks and we all feel safe. This is all fear mongering. I can't believe you're joining in on this. Haven't you heard COVID is over?
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you assume that "I am joining in on this?" I am reporting the news.
ReplyDeleteAnd incidentally, COVID IS NOT OVER.
MANY OF THE CASES ARE SENIIORS WHO TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID AND ARE AYSYMPTOMATIC BUT CANNOT BE RETURNED TO ASSISTED LIVING AND NURSING HOMES AS LONG AS THEY TEST POSITIVE. THE VAST MAJORITY ER DR ARE SEEING ARE UNVACCINATED PEOPLE.WHAT IS THE DEATH RATE?
ReplyDeleteI thought this was a conservative blog but you're repeating the fear mongering of the media. The Palm Beach Post is a liberal rag that prints lies. COVID is over. What you're reading and posting here is the Palm Beach Post. It's all fake news. There is no "emergency." It's just the media trying to scare and everyone and by printing their stories you're helping them!
ReplyDelete@9:04...the ONLY people fear-mongering are anti-vaxxers.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely a conservative blog but I have a brain and do what's right for me. What about you? Conservatives believe people can have the freedom to do what they want when it comes to vaccines, what food they feed their bodies, what vitamins they take, what advice they take from their own doctors etc.
I agree with you that the Palm Beach Post has a liberal bias on just about everything.
