Justice righted for McCloskeys

Governor Pardons Missourian Couple For Defending Their Home Against BLM Mob

Since when can't you defend yourself in America? Answer: When Democrats are in charge

The McCloskeys made national headlines by showing their weapons towards a BLM mob that was “trespassing” through their neighborhood last summer. These Americans were charged by a grand jury in October with unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, both felony crimes.

Now that wrong was righted by the Republican Missouri Governor Michael Parson on Tuesday after he pardoned the St. Louis couple and rightfully so.

Mark McCloskey will be running for Senate in 2022.

  1. They pled guilty.

"The wealthy husband-and-wife team who were slapped with criminal charges for waving guns at Black Lives Matter protesters in St. Louis, Mo., last year, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in court on Thursday and agreed to give up the guns seized during the investigation.

Patricia McCloskey, who menaced the marching crowd with her finger on the trigger of a handgun, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was ordered to pay a fine of $2,000. Her husband, Mark McCloskey, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault for threatening the passersby with an AR-15 rifle. He was fined $750."

Yes, they were pardoned. But they admitted their guilt and pled guilty back in June. All the pardon does is keep the person from being punished. They still have a criminal record.

  2. Hey Dem— they did the right thing that day. What would you have done if thugs came to your house? Cower in the closet? He’s running for Senator and I hope he wins and votes against the destruction of our country.. Your support of BLM is sickening

  3. anonymous, no one needs your cut and paste job on the Mccloskeys. If you can't see they were wronged by liberals in power, you suck. The prosecutor dropped all the felony charges, all the gun charges. Misdemeanor. BLM had threatened them with bodily harm and burning their house down. You really SUCK.

  5. Yes, anonymous above, they still have a record unless, of course, the court expunges the offense. They still did the right thing. What the he!! is wrong with you?

  6. I think the whole thing was a bit of play-acting. The crowd doesn't look menacing, and the McCloskeys" don't look threatening. Based on the looks of the house they are standing in front of, they won't have any trouble paying the fines.

    I think it's a publicity stunt.
